I OUTER BANX-12:CHEZ BLACK PELICAN

It was all oysters
locked up
in crooked shells,
looking at
flavored flounders fillets
and crabby crabs
(not soft shell though)
I grabbed a black pelican
by the wings
and pulled her
out of the ocean's wave
with Ali's help,
before oil spills
stormed her.
The night
was wandering around
all night long
on your birthday.
